Sam is Programme Manager responsible for mathematics education projects, particularly those in the Foundation Phase. Sam holds a BSc Honours in Applied Mathematics, currently pursuing his Masters. He has 15 years' experience working in mathematics and science education environment.
Prior to joining Zenex Foundation, he worked at the National Research Foundation’s Square Kilometre Array Project, where he was responsible for the Schools Programme. Sam sees education as the key to transforming lives in South Africa, a personal vision he shares with Zenex Foundation. He describes Zenex as a high performing environment “coated with a layer of compassion” where he feels privileged to be amongst a team of critical thinkers in the education sphere.
