Marion Stewart

Senior Programme Manager

Marion is Director: Programmes at the Zenex Foundation and a member of the Senior Management Team.

She brings 30 years’ experience in leadership and general management from the private and public sector. Her broad skill set includes general management, project design and management, policy and research, and teaching.

 Prior to joining Zenex, Marion was General Manager for Boschenmeer Golf Estate providing strategic leadership that included fiscal responsibility for R16million and assets of up to R20 million. Prior to that, she worked as a Development Consultant on a diverse range of projects including, more recently, the development of a strategic intervention for the Department of Public Works, developing a National Job Creation Programme in the social sector; developing and designing a Monitoring and Evaluation System for the Expert Patient Project of the Pediatric Aids Treatment in Africa Programme, and project management of the Katorus Urban Renewal Project, the largest urban development project in SA, which entailed planning, and implementation of programmes to ensure the revitalisation of the 20km2 area over a five-year

She holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Social Science and Environmental Sustainability, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.
